Hmm, I don’t think that it has anything to do with segregation/desegregation per se. Rather, I think that the timing of desegregation just happened to collide with leftists beginning to successfully transform schools from teaching to indoctrinating.

Good post. Public schools are a wreck. Part of the blame does go to the leftists who use schools to impose their beliefs instead of educate.

The objective of schools should be to produce good citizens that have a broad skills set and share a common history. Public schools don’t do this. Segregated schools used to do this. Integrated schools have never succeeded at anything worthwhile to society.

Albert Einstein was said to define insanity as “doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” By his definition, the Democrats in Congress are simply insane, producing bailout package after bailout package, all laden with pork and government spending even while no true stimulus to the economy occurs.

The economy is worse now than it was several months ago. The Dow is down below 8,000, as bad as I can remember it in many years. This after well over $1.6 Trillion in so-called financial “stimulus” packages last year. First, the “stimulus checks”, followed by a bail-out of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, followed by T.A.R.P. at $850 Billion. Yep, all that spending of money the government didn’t have sure stimulated the economy didn’t it. Now they want to spend $820 Billion more… or $1.2 Trillion with interest to “stimulate” the economy.

Sure sounds like Einstein’s definition of insanity applies to these morons.

And to US if we continue to re-elect them.

The fastest growing school choice is home education. We are busy teaching parents how to take back their child’s education by teaching them at home. When such folks as Will Smith, Wynonna Judd and Nascar drivers are homeschooling their kids, you know it’s socially acceptable now. By Homeschooling your children, you can be sure what they are taught, and how it is taught. With minorities now being 25% of the homeschool community, they need no longer bow at the public school door and continue to obtain an insufficient education. We also have many single parents and working parents now homeschooling. Virtual schools are increasing to make it easier for those busy parents.

Peta has killed more animals they take in than the city’s shelter. They do not have the time to take care of them. Peta does not want you to be able to have a pet? When we have no more animals what do we use for fertilizer? I am sure their members keep all the mice and rats and insects safe in their homes too?
